MSG policy center

These terms apply to public classes, private training, consulting, coaching, leadership programs, speaking engagements, and other MSG services unless a signed written agreement states otherwise.

Important student-cancellation term

Student cancellations are non-refundable and non-transferable.

MSG does not issue discretionary refunds, credits, substitutions, or transfers for a student's cancellation, nonattendance, late arrival, incomplete attendance, removal for conduct, scheduling conflict, work assignment, illness, travel problem, failure to meet course requirements, or registration error.

This student-cancellation rule does not apply when MSG cancels or reschedules an OSHA Outreach class. If MSG cancels an Outreach class, MSG will refund the full tuition and fees within five business days. If MSG reschedules an Outreach class, MSG will refund any student who does not affirmatively agree to the replacement date within ten business days. Nothing in this policy waives a right that cannot legally be waived.

1. Registration and seat confirmation

Submitting a registration form does not by itself confirm enrollment. Payment does not replace registration. A seat is confirmed only after MSG matches the registration and payment, verifies capacity, and sends confirmation to the participant or payer.

2. Attendance and course completion

OSHA Outreach participants must attend the required course hours, participate in the training, follow class rules, and provide accurate card-processing information. Tuition payment does not guarantee course completion or an Outreach course-completion card. Missing required time may make a participant ineligible for completion.

3. Schedule and program changes

MSG may change instructors, meeting administration, instructional sequence, or reasonable administrative details while preserving applicable course requirements. If an OSHA Outreach class must be rescheduled, MSG will communicate the replacement date using the contact information supplied during registration and request the student's affirmative agreement. A student who does not agree within ten business days will receive a refund.

4. Conduct and removal

MSG may remove a participant for unsafe, disruptive, threatening, fraudulent, or materially noncompliant conduct. Removal does not create a right to a refund, credit, transfer, completion document, or course card.

5. Payment processing

McGriff Service Group LLC is the customer-facing service provider. McGriff Corporation is MSG's parent company and Stripe merchant of record. Card information is entered on Stripe-hosted payment pages and is not collected directly by this website.

6. Privacy and records

MSG collects information a person voluntarily submits, including contact, registration, shipping, order, payment-reconciliation, attendance, course-administration, and service-inquiry information. MSG uses it to deliver requested services and products, communicate about an order or program, maintain required records, prevent fraud, and comply with law.

Information may be disclosed to an applicable Authorized Training Organization, Shopify, Stripe, Microsoft, shipping or fulfillment providers, an employer or sponsor, professional advisers, or authorities when reasonably necessary for those purposes. Payment-card details are entered on provider-hosted checkout pages and are not collected directly by this website. MSG does not sell student registration records. Privacy requests may be sent to mcgriffservicegroup@gmail.com.

7. Confidentiality and non-disclosure policy

MSG treats nonpublic client, participant, employee, vendor, pricing, operational, and project information as confidential and limits access to people who reasonably need it for authorized work. Recipients must not use or disclose confidential information outside the purpose for which it was provided, except with written authorization or when required by law.

Information already public, independently developed without use of confidential information, rightfully received from another source, or required to be disclosed by law is excluded. This website notice is an operating policy; it is not a substitute for a signed mutual non-disclosure agreement when legally enforceable confidentiality obligations are required.

8. Safety policy

MSG expects employees, contractors, students, vendors, and visitors to follow applicable laws, site rules, manufacturer instructions, hazard controls, and directions from authorized personnel. Work must be planned, hazards assessed, appropriate protective equipment used, incidents and near misses promptly reported, and unsafe work stopped until the hazard is controlled.

Training and website content provide general information and do not replace an employer's site-specific hazard assessment, competent-person duties, required training, supervision, or compliance responsibilities. No person should perform work beyond their training, authorization, physical capability, or available controls.

9. Assumption of risk and hold-harmless notice

Participation in training, demonstrations, consulting activities, events, or use of safety products may involve inherent risks. Participants must follow instructions, disclose relevant limitations, use equipment as intended, and stop when conditions appear unsafe. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, each participant is responsible for harm caused by their own unauthorized, negligent, reckless, or intentional conduct.

No website statement waives non-waivable rights, excuses MSG from liability that cannot legally be limited, or creates a signed release. A project, event, or hands-on activity may require a separate, signed assumption-of-risk, release, indemnity, or hold-harmless agreement reviewed for that specific activity.

10. Product safety, fit and compliance

Customers are responsible for selecting products appropriate for the actual hazard, application, size, compatibility, and governing workplace requirements. Product appearance, branding, or inclusion in a kit does not by itself establish regulatory compliance. Applicable manufacturer markings, instructions, limitations, inspection criteria, service life, and certifications control.

Do not use damaged, altered, expired, recalled, improperly fitted, or incompatible protective equipment. Employers remain responsible for hazard assessment, product selection, employee training, inspection, maintenance, replacement, and enforcement.
